Hi guys i am new hear and been looking at doing one of these events at the pod. I have no drifting experience at all apart from messing around in the odd quite car park!! I have a few questions if you don't mind me asking. I have had a look in the newbies section and had a fairly good read. I have a 3.0l z4 no LSD :-( Am i wasting my time until i put one in? Or would i get something from the day? Also the car is not so much a daily driver but a weekend car. I cant afford to go smashing it up. Or the wife will go nuts and cut bits off i want to keep!! Is there sufficient room for mistakes and what sort or level of coaching/ advice is there on hand? Hope you don't mind me asking and thanks in advance for any help
Thanks for the photos! Some very nice shots there!
@Machine monkey : Without an LSD you will end up spinning only one wheel so get your open diff welded or get an LSD . There is very little to hit at Santa pod but damaging your car is always a risk when you take it to a track . there will be people to give you advices and pointers .
Thanks Kevin best start saving I have tracked down the parts needed. I just need to get my workshop finished and save the cash for the them. Never done a track day or anything its something I really want to do but its quite daunting. Its nice to know there will help and advice i am sure i will need some!! Well I like the sound of little to hit hopefully see some of you their soon.
