Drifting a JZZ30 Soarer

Heya people that still browse this forum.

I was just wondering if someone could give me some advice for my current situation.

After getting rid of my e36 I somehow ended up buying a non VVTI 1JZ Soarer with the R154 (open diff tho) from the factory. It's bone stock and drives very "comfortable" but I want to get some skids going in the car now (perhaps a drift day at one of my local tracks as well?).

My e36 was prepped for drifting having all kinds of things done to it while on the other hand this Soarer feels like a boat and handles like one too.

Before I end up winding the car into a pole or a ditch, I just wanted to ask if the JZZ30 in stock condition with meh all season tires makes for an okay skid car?

Appreciating all sorts of feedback!

From my own experience (I have a Jzz30) stock I would say no they won't make a half decent car to skid, just because there big and boaty. But they have good power, strong everything and a shit ton of potential. Mine has now all the suspension parts changed out, poly bushes, 500hp and loads more and is a very very capable car. With some time and money there weapons but still a tad heavy
