Drifting in a E46 323 and Set Up

Hi All

I am after some opinions and advice...

I haven't drifted properly before and I am aiming to go to Santa pod in November. I have brought myself a cheap BMW 323i.

I have been looking through threads for info on setting up a E46 but there doesn't seem to be much info around.

Last week, I removed the Diff and I am having that welded up and I have stripped out the rear of the car.

What other modifications do I need to do before I go drifting?

Are there any budget performance upgrades I can do to gain more power?

Any ones help would be grateful.

Thanks

Dan

Check the subframe mounts for corrosion. 46's are bad for it.
You ideally want to tighten the suspension with coils. Preferably not ebay shite.
But it'll skid with a welder and make you a better driver in the long run if you can get good with a standard car.
Welder, coils, seat would be my order.
