Southwall Smokers
HI All,
I'm Lez (bruce), i bought a ca18det s13 a few months ago to start drifting in, i want to build it over winter but really need to go somewhere with it to find out if i can do it well enough, before i start spending to much money. I live in kent and have a truck n trailer so can get around. I know essex arena near me do drift events but the walls r a bit hard, i could do with an air field to practice on.
If anyone can help me find get started or know of anywhere i can go (legally) it will be apprecticated

Cheers
Bruce

Sadly Lydd is no longer open for drifting, so it's Santa Pod or Norfolk Arena. Not in Kent, obviously, but they are about your only options.

Santa pod is quite a way with a trailer, Norfolk on the other hand aint too bad, whats the track like there?

Concrete oval, low tyre wear, maybe 50mph top speed. The course is kidney shaped and marked out with white dust so you really have to go looking for something to hit your car on.

If you are a newbie they will shut the track and give you one-to-one instruction in your car with no one else on track. And it's included in the £40 you pay for the day.

Youd probably take about the same time getting to both TBH. Satan Pod is up the M1, Kings Lynn is up some farm track or something. :smash:

That farm track is the best road in Norfolk. It has some tarmaced sections, a cats eye, and the local man who can read and write did the signpost.

Sure, the signpost says "we kill foreigners", but it's a sign, on a post.

You foreigners are so picky.
