Drifting Trip To UK From Sweden!

Hi all of you!

I'm quite new here on the forum so maybe I sould tell you who I am.
I'm a 20 year old guy living in Sweden, 1km from Anderstorp Raceway.
Of course there is nothing I love as much of drifting. I even broke up with the girl I lived with when se wanted me to quit drifting and racing... :p
Right now I have nothing more than my FWD Mazda 323 BG -90 (Totaly Stock) to drive around and drift (it's amazing to drift!!! :O) because a friend of mine drove my BMW 535 -88 into a three...

Well to the point why I opened this thread!
This summer I'm coming over to UK for almost 2 weeks to see, hear and live as much drifting and drift cars as possible!

We arrive at Heathrow shortly before noon I think. Then we take the train up to darlington to rent the car that will take us out to the BDC round 3 (I think it was nr 3? :p)! :D

Does anyone have any suggestions on what me and my travler partner could do, see, meet or anything while we are taking the car down through UK to Silverstone to se the F1 Grand Prix the weekend after? Any suggestions on where we could sleep? any small drift evenings or track meets or car meets? Any friendly garage we could visit? As I said. The trip is mainly for me to get as much drifting and cars and maybe some contacts over there as possible!
I'm thinking about moving to the UK and give my drifting a new start! Drifting is alot bigger in the UK than in Sweden.

Any tips or tricks or anything is appretiated!

We are coming to england 30th of june and going home 13th of july. the drifting was BDC round 3 2-4 of july. :) and formula one was at 7-9 of july i think. :)

BDC rd 3, that'll be the Teesside round. Middlesbrough is a shit hole, £5 will get ya cock wet from a crack whore at the train station or cannon park. ;)

Hahaha! :P Well that's something to do for aweek. :P
But I'd like my trip to contain more cars, drifting, racing, garage, street racing and stuff aswell. :P
Any suggestions? soon it's only a mounth untill the flight leaves! :D

Awesome man :)
The teesside round of BDC should be amazing.
Where are you staying? Darlington and middlesbrough is not very good really.

During the drift event we gona sleep at an hotell in darlington, but on monday we will start to drive around and doing stuff, visiting ppl and see a bit of england while driving down towards silverstone and the formula 1 GP that is the weekend after teeside.

so now i need tips on where to sleep, stuff to do, and what to se when traveling around in england.

and we gonna rent a car so we are quite flexible! :)

You could fix my car after round 3. It always needs fixing :D

Hahaha are u such a bad driver so u need a swede to come over and fix ur car? :D just joking with you. :) are u gona compete at teeside? in that case i might come by in the pits and say hi. :P

A night out in Newcastle would be fun, not far from Darlington/Middlesborough.

what's the tradition in england then? what night's do u go out? and where should i go? and is it safe to go out by my self? :) but it sure sounds nice!

It's not many days left now! Comon ppl! Bring me some nice suggestions on stuff to do/see when I'm in England!
