[TD]Here we have another Driftmoto adaptor kit, this one now allows you to take the legendary 1UZ Toyota engines and adapt them to manual using the allegedly bullet proof series of e36/46 BMW gearboxes,
You get in the kit:
Billet steel adaptor plate including all fixing nuts n bolts,
Billet steel offset lightweight single mass flywheel, machined as you can see from one piece!! Not a flywheel with a spacer kit!!!
New billet heavy duty one piece ring gear and flex plate,
New prefitted spigot bearing
It is designed to use the M5 BMW clutch, and if needed we can supply various clutch kits to suit various levels of torque up to 850lb/ft!!
There are people successfully using the BMW gearboxes at over 600+hp
And these are massively cheaper than the usual r154/v160 normal swaps,
The convenience of the gearboxes is also apparent as it uses a remote gear linkage, you can lengthen or shorten the bars to perfectly position the gearstick in your cockpit
All in all a very economic and reliable manual conversion
