I was very lucky to get the opportunity to drift in Japan recently. I had a small skid in the mountain touge, and then yesterday I was invited to Nikko to drive a four door R32.
It was difficult to link the corner at 1.07 as it was on 195/60/15 tyres and I didn't want to shove it into 3rd and start fucking his gearbox up (more chance of synchro damage or mis-shifts). So I was just content with the flick-kick entry
Mike aka budget drifter? you still telling people your crap, you said the same shit to me at the odc final day at mallory when you got best entry award.
Thanks for the nice comments guys. I have been invited back for the Ebisu Matsuri, and hopefully can have my own car (which means more seat time, more skill development).
I was so chuffed that after nearly 2 years of not drifting, I still could hold a drift. I suppose it's like riding a bike..
