Driftworks braided oil feed problem.

Hi guys i bought a brand new unopened driftworks braided oil feed for a sr20det.

I fitted the oil feed and the actual banjo end is considerably larger than the standard fixed pipe banjo end.

your banjo (approx 17-18mm wide) standard nissan fixed line banjo (14mm wide)

the problem i am having is after you but the banjo bolt throught your braided line and add the copper washers each sideyou are only left with approx 3 - 4mm of thread to screw into the block. I have screwed this into the block and have stripped the thread 3 - 4mm. I have tried to source a longer banjo bolt to catch the back of the thread but there is no place that make them.

I was just wondering 1.Why the banjo is wider and no longer bolt supplied 2. are you able to get a longer banjo bolt?

The car is off the road and i have a dwyb day coming up. Even if i get the block helicoiled to accomodate a bigger banjo bolt then the banjo end on the braided oil feed won't fit.

I need you help please.

Hi Richy,

I'm confused! The kits definitely come with a longer banjo bolt too, we've missed the post now but I'll get one in the post to you tomorrow for Thursday delivery! Even if you've stripped the first few mm you should be able to clean it up and locate the longer bolt, it'll hold securely since it's a decent amount longer.
