Driftworks cheaper than Demonweeks

I get 10% discount at DemonTweeks with the GTROC, but even with that discount Driftworks prices are still cheaper :worthy:

Corbeau Forza Sport:

DT = £104.31 :no:
DW = £99.99 :nod:

Sprint:

DT = £207.95 :no:
DW = £205 :nod:

Pro:

DT = £299.58 :no:
DW = £285 :nod:

Was just doing a little reserach today, thought I'd post my findings :D I know where I'll be getting my seat from :thumbs:

:dw:

Yup DW match the rock bottom price I was offered for the Sprint seats by Corbeau direct. Corbeau sold me their seats as low as they could go and sold me seat brackets less VAT and there still wasn't much difference in price to DW! I only took Corbeau up on their offer as they sent me the seats with free delivery. Oh and they messed up with the seat brackets and sent me a couple of sets of alum brackets instead of the (cheaper) steel ones that I'd asked for... bonus! :)

Er, that was before I realised you have to add VAT to the Driftworks shop prices :cry:

So actually, DemonTweeks are cheaper :confused:

well i just ordered some special bits from DW...and even with VAT they worked out cheaper than DT and i also get a discount from DT

im about to test James and phil though on another special batch see what they come up with :D

If you're looking at the Tweeks website then the prices are usually excluding VAT on there but then the catalogue has parts at the same price but including VAT. :wack:

I just ordered handbrake button / grip tape / orange zip ties and it added vat at the end :confused:

Oh, no, Im a spaz :wack: :o

The vat appears on the reciept, sorry I thought it was adding it on afterwards but its just there to show you how much it is, not actually adding it onto the bill. I just cant add up lol

carry on :wack: lol

I've just noticed something strange with my Option Vol21 order too.. The price in the shop doesn't match the price on my paypal receipt and neither of those match the price on the driftworks receipt sent to my email.

The Driftworks receipt shows:

2 x JDM OPTION / Vol.21 () = £26.98
------------------------------------------------------
Sub-Total: £26.98
UK Royal Mail Rates (Shipping to GB : 0.15 kg(s)): £2.50
VAT @ 17.5%: £4.02
Total: £29.48

and the Paypal receipt shows:

Item Name: JDM OPTION / Vol.21
Quantity: 1
Total: £11.48 GBP

Basket Subtotal: £11.48 GBP
Postage: £2.50 GBP
VAT: £2.01 GBP
Basket Total: £15.99 GBP

I hope you haven't sent 2 copies to me as it seems as if I've only paid for one ??

i think driftworks are spot on with their prices,thats why i got my diff an handbrake off them.demon tweeks dont even get near i do be looking at their prices thinking they are a bit deer and then you remember thats excluding vat,demon thiefs are robbing hures! i hope the dw shop just keeps getting bigger to include everything we need.

Yeh you're right, I skim read it and thought it said "all prices incl vat" but it actually says "all prices plus vat" slightly missleading.. :euge:

The prices on driftworks are great!!! i have just received a large order which also came with some extra goodies thrown in. Cheers James mutch appreciated will be coming back to order lots more stuff soon. :thumbs: :worthy: :thumbs:

yeah DW rocks, my eyebolts were cheaper than demon tweeks equilvilent and much cheaper on the postage. in fact DW including postage was less than the DT postage!!!!!!! they are charging £14.50 (edit, thats the postage, total price £21 :rolleyes: )to deliver 4 eyebolts compared to £10ish for 4 bolts, postage and also a free sticker from driftworks

Bryn, your DW receipt is correct, I'm not sure whats happened with your Paypal bit as you've only paid us the correct amount. I'll look into it tomorrow mate :)

I get all my drifting bits off Driftworks, good service, good prices, DT are a joke, had to many problems in the past and would never use them again, even if it means going without.
