Having seen unrivaled success with the DW CS1 coilovers. We wanted to complete our range with an even more full on track biased coilover option.
The CS1 is an all round high performance heavy duty coilover, as popular for fast road use as it is for competition level drifting. It's proven it's performance and durability time and time again, and as often as it has driven people to work and back each day, it has also been the coilover of choice on many competition winning cars across the world.
The CS2 is a no compromise competition level coilover. Lighter weight, slimmer shock body and spring for better wheel clearance, heavier duty brackets, perches, collars, even better damper valving and range. It of course retains all of the durability found in the CS1, so is perfect for the most enthusiastic and committed of drivers.
The Driftworks CS2 was designed for us to win competitions!
The fact that we've designed this coilover as a no-compromise track performance suspension system, doesn't mean that it's a bad choice for a road car at all. The CS2's use road seals, and rubber boots to protect components in the same way the CS1 does.
Yes it is much stiffer than stock suspension, but a high quality coilover has well matched damping to spring rates, and it is still what we would describe as a very compliant ride, and personally I would be perfectly happy with the ride quality on a daily driver.
The new CS2 has been in development and testing for the latter part of our 2008 season on the Driftworks S15. Coincidently, it immediately won the next two events it attended. Read into that what you will

The pro level drift scene is already buzzing with talk of the release of the CS2. Watch this space for a list of 2009 pro cars changing from supposedly top of their game brand names to the actual top of it's game 'Driftworks CS2'.
