Heres the thing i was at llandow this weekend have fitted a driftworks handbrake the lever seems to be like a warm wham bar i pull it up it bends one way you bend it back so on

Anyone had the same trouble i mean I only weigh about 3 stone and if I can bend it
Also I know it doesnt matter as my gearbox blew to bits but still
 
Hi :),
The only reason they bend is if they aren't mounted at the correct angle. If they are set in-line of the direction you pull the handbrake, they will never bend.
 
Anyone do a stronger one so i dont have to move it fairly lazy

like most things if you pull on it in the wrong direction, damage will be done. you could put some little plates on it to resist the force you put on it whilst heaving off it. if you can smash it back into shape with a hammer.

thats not why im selling it i just need more power and the gearbox went again at llandow licence day last weekend just pissed me off is all

I put a voodoo curse on the thing after it tried a finger sandwich :smash:

I'll probably pop down on the 21st, currently carless as the black one is being raped for bits and an audi a4 ain't gonna the best at skidding
