Driftworks' position on street...?

Hi guys,

I realise this might be a silly question, but I haven't seen anything so far on the site stating your position on street drift, whether it's acceptable to discuss it here or not. Just thought you might want to cover your bases/asses :)

Cheers,
Graham

Agreed, I wasn't sure whether to post up about impromptue 'battles' I've had with mates late ate at night/early in the morning! What's the state of play??

Does having people discussing it on here mean the site owners condone it? I never do it myself on the road, due to not being good enough to avoid smacking into stuff/people, but I like watching the Japanese do it in the vids

i would think that its better to not talk about it on the site. Im pretty sure the driftworks position on street drift will be something along the lines of "everybody does it, we dont condone it or feel the need to talk about it"

tbh, i dont feel any urge to tell people about how many times ive drifted my private round about, blah blah blah...

Yep, not far off Matto. Driftworks stance is that from our experiance over the years it seems the people who actually drift dont feel the need to talk about it on the internet..... So feel free to talk about it, but Driftworks doesnt condone it and most of us wont listen nor care  :p

Im not confident enough to street drift. Although I have no problem keeping a good line around cones on a drift day. Its more fun if you dont do it as often. you look forward to it when the drift day comes. Although I do like watching it on dvd's and internet clips :D

Cool, just wouldn't like things to get legally sticky for you guys if 'something' were to happen because there was no official disclaimer somewhere on the site. Dunno, better safe than sorry? :o

my advise if you MUST talk about it is to not mention any place names or times or suggested meeting points etc... if you want to disscuss "street drift" technique, its the same as on a racetrack...

mitto over and out

Roger is when you acknowledge something, Over is when you want a reply, and out is when you're finishing a conversation.

I didn't want to talk about it, I was going to post some videos of recent 'shenanigans'. But I think I'll leave it for now
