DW 80mm twin down pipe

Hi,
I got one of your "twin downpipes for super low nissans" the other day and im having some slight issues mating it up to the rest of my system. Just wondering if this problem has come up before?

Im running a UK s13 with sr20det i have a jap speed s14 elbow and Apex system. With the down pipe the zorst is now about 3 inches too long at the back and sits against the tranmission tunnel about half way down.

Not really a complaint as the downpipe is quality, looks the shit. But it does look like im going to have to cut and weld the system somewhere else to make it fit which is a bit of a shame as its a new system.
Just asking if you've come across this before and if there was any other solution...

Thanks

Hmmm nope we've never had the issue before, could you take a quick pic of the downpipe so I can match it up to the SR20 pipes we've got here and make sure it's the right one???

yeah ok, i'll have to do it tonight as im at work atm. Its a bit of a pain as ive got my MOT on saturday morning.

I didnt realise there were different types of this downpipe, i thought they were universal for (r)ps13 / s14 / s15 etc...

they are
only way I can see of it being wrong is if it's a skyline one, but I would assume it'd be miles out.
Could it be a decat that's causing the problem?

not sure, my old system fitted fine.

Could it just be the differences in maufacture between Apex and the Jap system thats throwing it out of line?

I dont think its a skyline pipe as that would just sit horribly wrong

I can't really see how to be honest, we sell the japspeed elbows and these frontpipes and they usually go together spot on...
