Couldnt find a better place to put this so move if you want.

On Pistonheads (sorry did i swear?) their blog / news posts then link to the discussion for that post. Makes a bit more of a link between the blog and the forum. Thought it might be something quite easy to implement?

Similarly if there is something cool going on in the forum it can go up on the front page etc.
 
Hi Luke,
we have plans to make the blog/shop/forum come together a bit more but it's unlikely we'll follow PH's way of doing things as we are a very different website. The blog comments system allow discussion on a post and if someone feels the need to talk about a post in great details they are always more than welcome to start a thread about it on the forum.
It's not a very easy thing to implement really since the blog and forum are two totally separate things in terms of systems I'm afraid!
