DW snap off boss and Nardi wheel issue

Looking for a little help please. Picked up a DW snap off boss when I was there the other day to go with my 330 Nardi classic. However I cannot get the horn push to fit. The boss looks too small for it to fit. Besides that once you get all the connections on it looks even harder.

Anyone had a similar issue and managed to sort it?

from what i have heard in the past you just have to give it the beans to get it in but dont take my word for it

theres a spacer inside the snap off boss that conencts to the wheel IIRC. cant say its gospel but im pretty certain. Its like a metal ring sunk into the recess.

Doh, what a tit, didn't spot that. Cheers guys.

Now onto my next problem, the horn assembly is 16mm deep from the back of the wheel. The boss is 16mm deep from the wheel mounting face. Add connectors and fitting the whole thing together looks unlikely.

Do Nardi do different depth horn pushes?
