DW wheel spacer thread question

i am about to place an order for the DW hubcentric spacers for the rolla. what is the crack with wheel nuts, are the threads the same as my standard studs and wheel nuts or will i need to buy some different ones?

just another point i wanted to clarify, are these actually hubcentric? are they going to pass mot as spacers are a dodgy point as no more than 10mm spacers are alowd apparently.

let me know cheers, Si

Yo, the 25mm bolt ons are hubcentric, and if you specify for a toyota/1.5 thread pitch then they'll bolt right up with the existing nuts.

We've never had a problem with MOT?? Worst case, take them off, takes 10 mins?

cool,

what about the DW blue ones? cos i am not sure the spacing that i need you, would prefer the versitility if i change rims too.

anyone know pros and cons for bolt ons and bolt on hubcentric? i have read info on a few sites but not really understood it. is the hubcentric part to get the spacer straight on the hub or the wheel straight on the spacer?

silly width wheels won't go on the front of the car without spacers to fill out the missing offset so can't really take them off for mot.

wanna get them ordered this week either one or the other sets but don't wanna make a duff decision.

They work well, i run them so buy with confidence. :) 1.5mm thread pitch remember!

The blue spacers are not hubcentric, like Jeff says hubcentric is to locate the wheel and the hub.

How important hubcentric wheels are is a sore point, I'd bet the wheels you're fitting probably aren't hubcentric anyway. Our bolt on spacers are perfectly strong and safe without hubcentric fitment, but strictly speaking hubcentric is better for absolute wheel balancing etc.

I really can't see them failing an MOT, I doubt any MOT tester would care so long as the wheel is bolted on securely with enough turns of thread etc.

that's cool, so it's blue DW 4x114.3 with toyota 1.5 pitch for the win. do you have that combo in stock?
