Hi all
Ran into a headache while on refreshing the rear end of the e30
The car came with a 5 lug conversion already in place .I went to get everything reinforced , powder coated and Polly bushed with new bearings new hubs and bigger 325i e30 shafts . ( the car was on its original 318i shafts ( which I had snapped )
Upon reassembly I had had nothing but trouble trying to get the new reconditioned shafts into the new e36 318ti compact hubs? The hubs that came off seem identical and where told they are 318 compact hubs? Part number for the hubs are ( 33 41 1 095 768 ) . As far as am aware all compacts run the same size I.D hub anyways ?
tried a hub puller and freezing the shaft , seemed to sit 3/4 of the way in but even with the nut showing threads , it won’t pull the remainder of the shaft through ?
Any help would be appreciated
attached some pics to get a better understanding
