e30 steering rack swap

I am seeing a lot of people doing a z3 steering rack swap on the e30 but does anyone know if the one off the z4 fits as well? My cousin has a z4 just sitting there collecting dust and will probably never be on the road again due to an excessive amount of body damage. Instead of getting a z3 or e36 rack was wondering if I could just cop it from the z4? Thanks in advance!

I dont know personally but a purple tag rack from a z3 is the shortest tack to straight swap I only paid 50 quid for mine
