Hello guys.
I own an e36 323i and want to get into drifting, so I have been looking at getting a better suited diff. I have been offered a welded 188 medium case 3.07 diff (which I know is straight swap), but I also have also has access to a 3.45 from a 318i. I know I have to buy the rear prop and half shafts, but my question is are they as weak as people make out? If the 3.07 is good enough I would rather stick to the medium case diff if it saves me breaking half shafts. I would appreciate your guys opinions.
Cheers, Jay
