E36 328 Oem modifications?

hey guys

Just bought myself a e36 328 and im looking to upgrade parts on it by using parts from other e36's or other BMWs.


I've fitted and welded a 325diff already and ive started looking into m50 ilnlets.
what else can be done/salvaged from other beemers?

lower arms, arbs, brakes, hubs anything apart from cosmetics.

M3 arbs, m3 evo top mounts reversed give extra caster and camber.

M3 3.0 eccentric lollipop bushes for more caster.

Obviously M50 inlet for more bhp, s52 cams from the USA for a bit more bhp.

Or use an m54b30 inlet cam and m50 inlet cam(fitted to exhaust side) as a more budget option

E46 lower arms with e92 inners cut and rethreaded for 20mm+ track width each side.

Z3 short shifter, e46 330i or 330d calipers up front with 325mm discs.

E36 m3 rear trailing arms with brakes.

There's a hell of alot tbh that's easy to swap between cars, bmw generally seem to use similar bolt patterns and parts over the years so most is interchangeable, I believe there's only 3 types of sump pattern since late 80s?

My 328 has a full M3 EVO rear end with input flange of the diff adapted to fit a 328 prop, also using E46 330 front brakes which were a direct bolt on replacement using the callipers carriers discs and pads :)
 
As above evo rear ends fit (just bought one for mine) and are a good time to remove the subframe and weld in the reinforcement plates which is a must imo!

Although I would suggest using a 3.0 m3 prop to fit rather than modifying the diff as the 6 bolt cv is better than the 4 bolt uj.
 
Smaller front, thicker rear.
Only 1mm thicker than a 328 sport though, hardly worth it.

Rear is thicker, front is thinner but connects to shock instead of lower arm so it has more leverage.

Therefore even though it's thinner it works better than the sport ones.

Not when he connects it to his standard control arms it not.
