I started doing a lightened m3 flywheel and clutch conversion on my e36 328i
I fitted the lightened flywheel only to find the bolts supplied were too short and the ones that came out were too long so I shortened these and fitted the flywheel.
The flywheel stated that it fitted 95 on and could be fitted to the m52 engine using a 240mm 10 spine m3 clutch.
Got the whole thing back together and the clutch won't fully disengage.
Took the whole lot apart again to check it was all installed ok and everything was fine.
The only thing I can see is that the pressure plate on the 328i the forks stand out but on the m3 one they are recessed so I can only think that there must be a different clutch I need to use.
Is it the one from the 3.0 or the 3.2 I need... and will the 3.2 fit my box...
Or does anyone know of a good upgrade for the standard. The cars supercharged so needs a upgrade
