Okay so I've been lurking in the shadows for a whole whilst building a drift car, thought it was about time I signed up.

So I'm Ed, 21, Lincolnshire. Starting to get to grips with drifting now, done a handful of practice days at norfolk arena which is the closest venue to me. I've gotta say driving on track is insanely enjoyable so my car is now a trailer "queen".

I guess a couple snaps are also in order.

Lincoln practice spots

Hi Ed, I'm Jake, 20 live in Lincoln
I'm new to DW forum and drifting (attempting) in its self.
Could you suggest anywhere to safely/legally practice in Lincoln?
I'd find it quite embarrassing turning up to Norfolk arena when my all I can skid is my own pants.

Hey dude, good to see some local drifters!

As far as safe and legal is concerned, there is nothing. Norfolk is probably the closest to us with regular practice days.

If I were you I'd just book on get yourself down and see how you get on. There is no embarrassment in whatever skill level you bring to the track, we all started in the exact same position. Sure you'll probably spin a lot but you'll learn a lot and have an awesome time!

I know quite a few drift guys from Grantham/Lincoln and surrounding areas so you could always come along with us and we could likely jump in with you for a couple laps for some friendly pointers.
