Hi,
I am looking to buy some HSD DT's for my E36, that I use primarily for drifting. Do you think it can handle that kind of abuse? I know that I should get the MP's , but that's not a possibility as I'm going way long over budget with these and I cannot stretch it anymore. It started as a cheap car and it's getting really expensive, but I think some real coilovers are worth it.
I also see that the rear spring rate is softer than the front. Usually BMW's have a higher spring rate because of the inboard spring and its effectiveness. Are those 6.5 kg/mm the equivalent of a real coilover spring and therefore the spring that comes with the kit is stiffer?
And my last question is: Can I order it with custom springs? I saw that the HSD HR's had the Nurburgring package, that was 10kg front and 10 kg rear. Is there any possibility to make a kit like that with the DT's?
Thanks in advance, and sorry for my English, let me know if you don't understand something and I will try to explain it better.
