Hi,
Recently bought a e36 m3 evo and i'm concerned about the diff. It seems to put more power to the nearside wheel and will leave more rubber on road on that side when moving straight. Also its caused the this tyre to wear quicker. There is a leak from the pinion shaft and I'm going to replace the seal + there is a slight whine off the diff at high speed. I had planned on replacing all output and input shaft bearings and seals when I had the diff out but if the clutch pack is gone I Prob wouldn't bother.
Questions
If someone has topped up the diff with the wrong oil could that cause the lsd to distribute power unevenly?
Were can I purchase a new clutch pack and at what cost?
Does anyone have any other ideas?
I'd be grateful for any suggestions on what I can & should do.
Thanks
