E36 new skid project

Hi I'm new to driftworks my names winston 25 from northants .thought id post my car to start a discussion and get advice etc
E36 328i coupe
Decat stainless exhaust system
Remapped
M50 Manifold
Polyurethane ARB bushes front and rear
Polyurethane lollypop bushes
Coilovers
Fan over ride switch
Uprated rear top mounts
Camber adjustible front mounts
Short shift
Omp strut brace
Push start
Custom intake boot
Induction kit with custom stainless pipe
CDV delete
ASC delete




Current power on Dyno was :

247.5bhp @6100rpm
328nm @4000 rpm




Home made 90 degree silicone intake boot.

Stainless steel exhaust manifolds installed.

Car was booked in at the rolling road, after some map tweaks the final result was 198bhp@ the wheels or 247bhp @ flywheel




Custom air intake
Air intake temp sensor and display on dash
Under bonnet temp sensor and display on dash

Latest mod has been gettin the diff welded buy ant up at santa pod , this has obv helped get it sideways alot . Any advice on set up and skidding a e36 appreciated

what manifolds did you end up using mate? stainless jobbies off ebay?

the car looks really smart, very clean!
 
Cars nice man, good work :thumbs: You had any hassle with that front number plate? Where did you get it/size? Always tempted to order a small 'show' plate, never sure what sizes people do/dont get away with though

Cheers man :) mm the plate is like the size people put on bikes , can get them made at most car shows . They make them while you wait .Never had any hassle for it I think alot of the time if there not looking for it it goes un noticed as being undersized ,if you no wat I mean . I keep the other one in the boot incase I get pulled for it , would probly try talk my way out of it hah . Mm but I think with gettin pulled over in general has alot to do with how you drive most the time . I've ran no plate before for quite awhile with no trouble probly just lucky / foolish , but ithink big plates and to a degree plates in general ruin the look of cars . I take the little one off at events or watever :)

Awesome car dude! Really like the way it looks, the power and the interior as well :D Looks too good to skid! Well done on your project so far.
