E46 330 For Drifting?

So I'm finally going to start drifting (other than being silly in a car park) and looking to get my first drift car. Looking for something probably under £5k but also want to daily drive it, I've seen a few nice E46 330 that I liked when originally looking for E36 328 (which seem a bit scarce just now?), but I've not seen a lot of E46 drifting. Any reasons for this? Looking for some recommendations

I've seen numerous people using 330's at Santa Pod when I've been, and they seemed to do well enough. Coilies and a welder and it'll do the job just fine. Few more luxuries than a 36 if you're dailying it too. I've been told they're not as good as 36's. But if you're after a nice daily too it could be a good compromise. 328 36's are getting a bit pricey too if you want a clean one!
