E46 info on 2.8 engine swap

Hi all I have a chance to buy an 02 plate e46 316i very cheap and wondered how hard it would be to swap the 1.9 for a 2.8 and use it for drifting now I'm a mechanic so swapping the engine would be no problem but when it comes to wiring it up that's a different level now if I get the wiring loom with the engine and the ews and chip would it plug straight in cheers in advance
