Hey guys welcome to my e46 323ci build thread.
This is my first time documenting a build of mine but I figured it would be good if anyone wanted to see some info on how a hack does it.

I bought the car last week. The body and paint are in 9/10 condition.
She is a five speed with paperwork from a recent clutch and the subframe is in good shape.

The only problem currently is the car cranks over but does not provide fuel or spark. This is leading me to believe that it is the crank sensor below the starter.
I'll do some testing after the temps are not -25 out. Thanks for reading!

I figured I would add some photos of my drift car from last season. A 1998 4 door e36 m3. Bone stock with a sub par handbrake and cut coils she did pretty ok for junk.

The plan for the e46 is coilovers and hopefully around 70 degrees of lock!

So update time.
It's been cold as balls here still. We started in on changing the crank position sensor but the Allen bolt was stripped so we called it off untill next week when it will warm up.

In the mean time I have picked up a set of 300$ coilovers and will be getting those on soon as well!

After a week of not touching it my friend Sean also know as @PearlBrz on insta helped me check all the relays and we got it running!! It was a dme relay! She runs good!

Next steps are going to be coilovers and welded diff as well as diy Knucks that sean makes and sells.

His brz has a TON of steering lock and is on hsd coils. I'll find some photos to share !

Well we did lock mods! I need smaller tires now to actually run with out rubbing but they are all shaped up! Should be good for close to zero Ackerman and mid 60 of lock!

Be wary of using the OEM eye as a tow point.
They are banned at Driftland as they are known to sheer when pulled at angle!

Good solid base for a seat time car though :D

Thanks should be a fun car! We have a winter matsuri event coming up on the 20th so I'll be bringing her out!

Update on the new knuckles. It works great!
I need some smaller tires on the front to get more lock as I'm only sitting around 58 degrees and rubbing like mad.

First time on the skid pad was great!
Even got to tandem with Hert and Rob from hoonigan!

Rocky Mountain drift club in AB !

The car is stuck in a limp mode that only revs to 5500 and I also snapped an axle at the end of the day doing a burnout.

Updates to come!

So I got smaller tires put on and WOW what a world of difference that made. I have so much more lock now!

I also replaced the snapped axle.

And got a little seat time

Update to Captains log. :
.
Car is still doing awesome. I definitely need to do solid bushings in the back
Car still has the weird limp mode issue. Latest attempt at a fox was to check the intake hoses for leaks. Going to throw resistors into the abs sensors next

So after a ton of speculation I decided to splice some 3.3 ohm resistors in place of my abs sensors and my limp mode it fixed!!!

Next step for the "build" is tracking down solid bushings and doing the subframe reinforcements.
If anyone has a hook up for cheap bushings let me know!
