About a month ago i bought myself a set of Tein HE coilovers from an Ebay power seller in the USA called Power Garage. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...&item=7921607770&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWA:IT) With 99 per cent positive feedback i assumed that they would be safe and they answered all my emails quickly. As they wont ship to the uk they agreed to deliver to my dads office in New York.

Over a month later now and 700 quid lighter they wont answer emails and there is no sign of the package. I have lodged a complaint with ebay and hope to sort it out soon.

Has anyone else had any problems with them and can anyone give me some advice as to what action to take?

Reading the dudes feedback seems as though quite a few people had slow shipment or not got the items.

Got quite a lot of bad feedback, don't just go off the % look at the # of negative comments.

Hope you get it sorted!
 
Contact the ebay fraud department - they should help you get either your money or the product you purchased. They take this stuff quite serious.
 
Cheers for the comments lads.I paid throu Paypal e-cheque, im gonna go through squaretrade to try and get this resolved. The worst thing is that the coilovers are for my uni project car and there is no way im gonna be able to afford to buy more. Ill try squaretrade and see what they can do but its another 20 dollars for them to mediate it.

Sorry to hear this Tom, I can't offer any advice on getting the money back through ebay, but is there a way to find out the sellers phone number? does he have a shop? is it worth contacting any of the people that he has previously skanked to see how they went about getting their money back?

I have managed to get hold of the phone number but the guy is in LA, ill try calling anyway. I havent paid squaretrade yet so i wont bother.

Ive contacted 7 or 8 others who have had problems so hopefully they can help me out.

Glen, i didnt get that seat because apparently mark wants it for his 32, didnt think to ask u about getting coilovers, just kind of saw these ones for a good price and got excited.

To be honest aslong as i get either my money back or the coilovers i dont mind, aslong as its pretty soon.

Yeh, i thought it was yours but apparently he put one of his in ronnies so hes having that one. Im not gonna argue with him because like you say he's bigger than me.

Ill keep trying to get my money back but i filed a complaint with paypal and they have told me they cant do anything as its been over 30 days since payment. Even thou it took 10 days to clear so technically it hasnt been 30 days since the money was available to him.

Got the head off the drift car on monday and head gasket was gone on cylinder 4 and 2 and 3 had poorly seated valves so need to re cut the seats on them. Shouldnt cost alot but it looks like its had a head rebuild before and the bloke has scored the shells where the cams sit. Fingers crossed it can be sorted but i might have another head lined up anyway.

Thats cars thou isnt it, wouldnt be as fun if it was all cheap and easy.
 
Just thought id let everyone know that im getting my money back off paypal. After initially telling me that they wouldnt and couldnt do anything i contacted my bank and within 12 hours i had an email from paypal saying thay are reopening the case and ill get my money, which is a bonus.

I would have rather get the he's to be honest but im now on the lookout for some others. Im thinking about getting involved in brens group buy but as he wont say what make they are im a bit hesitant. Anyone else got any suggestions?

good news on getting the money back, it's bullshit that paypal wern't going to pay out untill your ban threatened them :mad: .. Speak to Glen now, he might be able to sort something quick/cheap, and you know that your not gonna get ripped off :)
 
Will have a hunt around on Jap auctions and see what comes up.

Just want to get this bloody car built now as im so bored of driving fwd. Need to get the net sorted at home first thou so i can get looking around for more stuff.

yup, I believe so. K sport are sposed to be very very similar to D2's, like made in the same factory similar.
My D2's are absolutely fine :nod:
 
Well ive got in on the group buy now. Got myself some 9, 7s. I know Glen could have got me some others but i really need to commit the money now before i spend it.

Hope delivery isnt too long.
