well i got this as a daily instead of boring fwd while I wait for the silvia to be done:smash:

Plans are to get some cheap coilovers and nice wheels and have fun with it over winter.

update 16/10/13

been driving this since anyways, it has an oil leak that I need to sort and a balljoint (by the sounds of it).


I fitted a garage vary replica plastic splitter, and some red leads that were in the boot. I also did a few skids today, ill upload the video when its up on youtube!


these things are great, dont care if theyre gay!

















 
yeh seriously they need to be stoned to death or some shit. have to try find a hardtop. and of course the insurance company are no help to me. grrrrrrrr no nice bits for me before the drift day next month so!
 
Thats savage about the thugs mate. I dunno why this kinda shit always happens :/ Keep enjoying the car though man, keep your eyes peeled for cheap hardtops too they do pop up.
 
anyways! some more progress! this yoke has had a pretty significant oil leak since i got it so today i had it down in di motorsport for jay to sort, upon taking off the rocker cover and cambelt cover it was obvious whoever had been at it before was butcher. he changed the cam oil seals and the rocker cover gasket so thats that sorted!

i also picked these up! in 15x8 et0 all round so pretty good size for mx5! rolled the arches a little but may need to do more!





went to fit em but the wheelnuts were too big to fit into the holes so panic set in, however i was saved by japstyle.org and picked up some internal drive steel wheel nuts! great price and seem solid!

Looks rude mate. I got a hardtop for the very same reason fucking scum of the earth these people.
Waiting for an LSD for mine at the moment then some mega skidding going down.

You gonna go down the turbo route or leave it standard?
 
Looking good so far dude! A set of coilovers really changes the way these cars drive in a big way. Seems your confident in it as it is so you should be chucking it around with ease with some better suspension!
 
sweet, tbh i might weld my diff, hate having a half open half locked scenario when drifting!

nah, gona keep it bog standard power wise! maybe an exhaust but thats all. have the silvia for turboyness!

yeh coilovers are needed, ill proooobably cut teh springs tomorrow for the time being though as im short on cash! but yeh, less bodyroll would be nice!!
