Yer, fookin' Volvoooo!
High quality it may have been, but Julian's work on the old girl took a little longer than expected and the MOT is due sooner than I thought.
Unfortunatly 2-way LSD's and Rollcages do not add up to plus points on the pass sheet and basic things that the old girl was lacking do.
With the due date soon, I have been working hard to get her road legal as that was one of the things I promised to do to her when I bought her. None of this shady stuff, I wanted to roll her into any MOT station and walk out with a pass.
So Behold! The brand new Avon ZZ3 tyres on the back wheels

Behold! The sexy new horn pushes which were procured from Demon Tweeks and wired up today.

Behold! The JDM washer bottle procured from Dogs Danglies at the start of the week, held in by lovely cable ties because someone *looks in driftybolox's direction* had cut the previous bolts holding the old one off at the heads

Behold! the squirty goodness gushing forth onto the windscreen after wiring the pump and the washer jets back to the bottle and pressing the "Squirt* button.

Behold! The replacement fueltank, procured from Driftmoto some time ago and wired into place, using non rusty fuel pipes and chucking the crap ones into the bin. No more seepage from the seam here, thank you very much!

But here's the best bit....
Behold! the comprehensive welding work done by Julian's fair hand to the rear trailing arm mounting points. His work is top notch to say the least and it also concludes the work that needs to be done on the car with regard to structural rust.
As of now, exdriftango is as solid as a rock:cool:

Its been so long since I've done this sort of thing, I've forgotten the simple pleasure you get when you do work on the car and then stand back and admire your work.

Wanna swap those axle links for some TRD ones? Thats why the links are all fucked and falling off. The rose joints are too harsh for road use! SWAPPSSSIIIEEEESSSS
