extinguisher pipe/jet

Hallo,

I just got delivery of a Peter lloyd rallying 3litre fire extinguisher, plumbed in jobby. It came with a length of pipe (push in fitting) and a hefty metal pepper-pot type jet. But only one of them. Can you guys sell me just a length of the pipe and a jet, and a t-piece? Or can you recommend anywhere to get such things?

Thanks!

they're well expensive to buy on their own :(
We tried to get some spare nozzles a while back, but just 2 nozzles on their own come to a lot more than a full extinguisher kit with 2 nozzles included for some bizarre reason

Wank. Anybody know of any bodgy alternatives? I can't really bare spunking £40 just to get some pipe and a nozzle. Can I use normal plastic pipe like would be used for small-scale pneumatic systems that use the push fit?

Pop into a coach builders or HGV workshop. Havent been in the trade for years but used to keep loads of fittings and tube in stock cheap as chips too.

Will see what I can do, thanks mate, I'm also going to try the maintenance peeps at work. If I have to buy another jet and pipe then so be it, but it's crippling me already trying to get me and the car upto safety regs. Oh well, only have to buy it all once :)

lcp will sell u the pipe dude,i have miles of the stuff air piping that is working on trucks has its advantages lol but dude the propa stuff that comes in the kits has a metal lining so that its can bend with out creasing and holds its shapes, u cant bend the air piping used on hgv's that easy or tight!!

i got a full fancy 4ltr kit with loads of piping and 4 nozzles and 2 pull cords for 150 sheets from rally design, and dude some things are worth spending the money on!!!

Sorted now, thanks for all the advice. Some guy had an inline nozzle which forms a T-piece itself, and some pipe, so I should get that through the post today.

edit - literally as I finished that sentence mr. Postman delivered it haha. A length of pipe with an inline nozzle AND a 90deg head nozzle.

£20 delivered brand new unused from the guys kit :)

That means a 3litre plumbed in extinguisher with 3 nozzles (potentially) has cost me £45 :)

Some things you don't need to spend money on ;) :D
