Eye Bolts - M10 1.25 Fine Pitch

Afternoon all,

I'm hoping you can help me with a couple of eye bolts that I need to complete the harness install I'm currently doing on the Skyline.

I recently ordered a batch from Driftworks and all fit apart from two as they are going into different bolt holes.

The fitment I need is M10 and it is a 1.25 fine pitch thread.

Please can you help? I only need two eye bolts in this size and I have a drift day coming up very soon.

We only have the fitment in the shop I'm afraid.
We do the mounting plates that they screw into, so you can use those if its an option :)
 
Thanks for that, Kam. I'm trying to retain some of the OEM mounts and thread types, which is why I'm having such difficulty lol :)
 
Seems like they're not available anywhere in the size I was after... So, I'm now thinking of having the threads helicoiled, so then I'll be able to use the eye bolts ordered from Driftworks. Plus they'll still be nice and strong :)

the industry standard for seatbelts is 7/16 unf although i have been informed some newer cars use m10 or m12!!!! and i have seen 1/2" UNC!!
 
Ah righty, wasn't sure if there was some peculiar Jap thread different to standard that caused problems :)

Nothing we have experienced so far , I can only see that it might be an issue on some obscure new cars :)
