4AGE Cam shafts, slightly used, bought from the USA recently and have done about 300 miles in my car and are now for sale.

Cam shaft specs are 304 Intake, 288 Exhaust both with 8.5mm lift. They will work on the stock head and stock shims. These are about the most you can go with a stock head. Makes power from 4000rpm, past 8000rpm easily. Very popular setup in Japan.

Cams are £230+ each new, selling the pair for £325.

I think the plan is to put some of Bens own 290 degree cams in.. Youre probably wondering why put a smaller duration in on the intake, but the 290's are 12mm lift! Im sure Ben can post more info on it tho.. But you know these cams would make a monster out of yours :D

Ah - you sense the cogs turning in my brain ;)

I have engine management issues to be address before such mega cams can help me. I still haven't checked what my cams are as I'm waiting for the fidanza pulleys to come from paradise (gggrrrr) they are meant to be 288 I think.

Does Ben know anything about freedom ? If not can he suggest a reasonably priced management system ? I know you were running power FC piggying the stock ECU but I guess you are going to change this now.
 
I heard your pulleys are on the way pretty much.. Finally! Sucks youve had to wait so long. As for the cams in your car, if it has them, they feel very mild? Duration and lift will probably be stamped on the end of the shaft near the firewall, and the'll probably have a stamp on the hex part.. Whip the covers off and have a see :)

As for Freedom im not sure, but he can sort you a management system out im sure. Best to give him a call id say? As for my management im still on the stock ECU and S-AFCII. Sucks, but almost does the job! ;) Im hoping to run something better in the future but we'll see...

Maybe an option - but I don't have a stock ECU anymore either - and I'm not sure if the loom had to be butchered (although I've heard the freedom is a straight plugin)
 
But fredom is only comes in japanese so u will need to go to OPTIOn to map it everytime...but i will choose Power FC....lots of places can map it
 
is there a budget for the ECU setup, as i'm not an avid fan of any of this jap ECU crap they come out with.

Give me a call as i have a few options, but i almost always opt for standalone........in english. lol

may be worth you getting some background from pazza san about my current setup. Whilst the freedom is a good management system i have no way of remapping the car right now because I don't have the software - and if I did its in japanese (true JDM stylee !!!)

Will try and drop you a line today.
