Hi everyone,

For sale is my sierra. Purchased at the start of the year as a tramp drift project but a new job and change in circumstances mean I am selling it before getting to light up the tyres!!

Ford Sierra 2.0GLSi (125bhp) 1992
96K
MOT – Oct 07
Tax – May 07
Blue
Good tyres all round including spare on original alloys
Recent clutch – previous owner
Cone filter – unknown make
Thermostat needs replacing – I have a replacement
Exhaust blows between downpipe somewhere and mid section – wasn’t bothered to repair but these parts can be had on the fsoc for as little as a fiver!!

Car also comes with:
Lowering springs I purchased
Oil change kit
Thermostat (as mentioned above)
Set of 4 ghia alloys with a good amount of tread ready for you to turn into smoke!!

Not that much history besides some MOT’s. The lady purchased from owned it for a while after her father owned it. He kept it garaged.

Car has been perfectly reliable since I have owned it, it makes an excellent workhorse, returns good mpg and has not given me any problems. No noises, or whines, gearbox is perfectly smooth and never crunches. Its obviously not a new car, but you would know that! Its nice that it has some toys such as electric mirrors, heated front screen, front fogs etc….

Just weld the diff and you are off really ;)

I am in Pinner, North West London.

£500 - Now reduced to £350:)

good price. Have it myself if I wasnt already buried in cars.

You should have put 'drift ready' in the thread title!

is there any knocking/tapping from the engine?
Nope! Obviously its not silent like a new car but its fine. No sawing sounds from the timing chain either

I consider the car mechanically sound - hence why I bought it!

hmm tempting, looked at sierra xr4i yesterday, twas a lovely car but engine was tapping badly so walked away.

I might come back to you about it :)

Nice to meet you, make sure you let me know how things go. Did you find the M25 OK?
