"Friendly" MOT tester?

Ok so my 328 is up for MOT. Had it checked by MOT tester already and its mechanically perfect the only thing that fails it is emissions I think due to the remap.

Any friendly mot testers in scotland (pref around Edinburgh).

a remap shouldn't have cocked up the emissions if it's been done properly surely.

oh well worth a try. Lambda looks fine but CO is too high. Still has cat but not sure if its good. Just don't want to go round chasing tons of things (e.g. 02 sensors maf etc, etc) to find out what the problem is.

Getting people to out friendly MOT testers on a public forum probably won't happen mate, However Edinburgh is a big place with a lot of drifters.. They all must get them done somewhere!
