Front runner skinnies

I have a trans am that has more of a drag set up to it. Has 165 tires in front and 275 in back. But I've never been into the drifting world, I was wondering though if my front tires are to small to drift. I just don't want a blow out to happen. Let me know what y'all think! Thanks.

Wider wheel/tyre will be better for control, is the steering modded in any other way ,
I'd probably look at something a little more sensible at the rear too for balance or you might get spat out quite savagely. Also alignment.
