The time has come where I need to sell my recovery truck on.. Iv had it a couple of years and done countless jobs with her, covered many miles without issues, just general maintainance..
It's got the Banana engine which is notorious for going on forever, God knows how many miles it's actually covered because the instrument cluster and some of the previous mot's say many different numbers.. It's a decent runner though, it's not fast, cruises at 65-70 with a car on the back..
The van is not a rusty dog like many other transits, it's actually pretty clean and presentable. Interior is dusty and old..
Its got a decent winch and decent ramps, the bed is pretty good, it's a bit steeper than some beds but iv gotten rediculously low drift cars on it with strategically placed bits of wood, some wood provided with van.. I'll also chuck in a set of ratchet straps..
It does have a few things that need sorting in the near future, a wheel bearing is whiney, will be fine for a few hundred miles, £11 for replacement bearing, I just can't be arsed to do it.. It could do with some attention to the exhaust, I replaced the down pipe a while back, also repaired a hole in the exhaust with a bean can and jubillies so that needs fixing properly.. And a rear indicator bulb is out..
