Fuel pump kill switch

Anyone ever installed a kill switch to the fuel pump on a jzx100? I'm lost as to where i should tap into due to the variable voltage side of things. I have looked into modding the pump so it runs 12v all the time and then putting a switch before the new relay but that seems a lot of extra unnecessary steps just for a small switch. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated

In my Chaser was a switch connected between the + cable directly at the pump behind the rear seat and the cable was running through the middle console / tunnel to the dashboard underneath the steering wheel.
