Fuel pumps - any requests?

We're about to get a load of Walbro fuel pumps in so we can cater for a wider range :)
Aside from
200SX
Skyline GTS
Soarer
AE86

does anyone have any requests or suggestions for models we should be stocking?

Don't you worry Steve, you're catered for

What kind of LPH flow do you need Ant? Phil's not having any probs with 410bhp and a 255LPH. I'll check what higher rated pumps they do if you need more than that.
I dread to think how much it'd cost to run a car that needs more than 255litres of fuel an hour :wack:

We've gone for:
200SX S13 and S14
Skyline GTS
Lexus SC300
Toyota Corolla AE86
Mazda RX7 FC3 turbo
Mazda MX5
BMW M3

but can now get pretty much any other fitment next day too

255lph should be good for over 500bhp, in theory anyway. IIRC GTR pumps dont get bigger than the R34 at 240lph. R33s are 190lph.

Just to give you a comparison.;):)

yeh got some rb24 monster with some big ass injectors and a sutibly big ass turbo to go with it

the problem with 2 pumps is if 1 fails, it all goes lean and blows up, would be good if i didnt toast a set of pistons

On some ECU it senses pump failure and shuts it down think some pectel and autotronic do this.
Or couldn t you run twin pumps into a collector with a pump off that on a pressure switch so if one fails it would trip the system into shutting down?

Ant, we can get Bosch 044 pumps all in stock and available next day
but..... they flow similar rates to the 255lph Walbro, but need mounting out of tank and need to be below or in line with the level of the fuel as the flow rates are reduced if they have to pull the fuel up.
Also, if you're running out of tank fuel pumps, it's looking likely that they will need fully enclosing in to be allowed in D1 events.

The 255LPH Walbro will flow enough fuel for a safe 500bhp at 13.5 volts and they've been bench tested to flow quite a bit more than this at 15v (test Walbro lasted a month of continuous running at 15V)

What kind of power are you going for dude? :wack: Twin in-tank 255LPH Walbros with some kind of warning failure cutoff system seem like the best bet for really big BHP

hmm d1 sucks balls, i will have to work out how much these injectors will need to be happy with

I'm using the bosch 040 pump in tank.

My mate uses the 044 pump, its external with a swirl tank thingy. Its a bit overkill to be honest.

I'm sure the 255 will be more than good enough.

Wow you must be planning on crazy power with that bad boy :worthy:

044s are good for about 700bhp if i remember right.

I got two of them on the GTR being fed by a big swirlpot, which itself is fed by the standard pump.

w000000t :D
pumps are here :smokin:

for reference, here are the flow rate graphs for Walbro 255lph and Bosch044 pumps
