Full Drift Weekend at Lydden Hill

Afternoon All,
For those that dont no and have been living in a cave for the past year, I'm Lez aka bruce and have been organising drifting at lydden hill in kent since last summer. Most wont no that its my 30th this year so of course everyone asks what u gonna do for it, so heres my answer
FULL WEEKEND OF DRIFTING AT LYDDEN HILL.

Its been an idea that been rattling about my head for a while which is where i thought it was best kept:o, until i mentioned it to Lydden staff today. They really took the idea onboard as a serious plan and we began chatting about a few ideas for it, 1st thing to say is its all pending Mays open pit lane day. The other thing is my birthday is at the beginning of Dec :cool: so the weather might be poor, although this year it was a nice day.
I really want to get your thoughts, inputs and ideas no this, its a massive task to take on and want no if anyone would even come, so please go nuts below
 
Good idea! I can see the weather putting a downer on some bits if it's a full weekender event but i'll still be there :D

Hoping to be there in May too.
 
gotta be summer time. unless its over le mans weekend then count me in. deffo up for this!!!!!!!!!!! p.s. we need massive drift trains with bumpage!!!
 
Summertime would be nice but not gonna happen, the place is fully booked over summer, autumn time maybe possible though, lets assume for now it has to be late nov/ early december.
 
fuck yeah thats a good idea! ill be there if it goes ahead, what a way to celebrate. however im definately not gonna camp there if that was your idea lol. ill go back to my own bed.

i best get saving up some tyres
 
all over the idea, can turn into a replacement for awesomefest, maybe touch base with driftworks staff to see about working together on it as an event

yer i'd have that option too, but would consider camping as its 'car based' weekend tradtion

Ha dont think it will replace awesome fest, i knew someone would say it didnt think it be u, would be a good idea to get DW involed
 
Def down with this ..... maybe have some little fun comps to nothing serious like entry comp or driver of the day, just an idea :-)
