Are these in stock at the moment??

I have read that s13 rear handbrake fits and i have read that z32 drum doesn't fit. what about the r33 drum/handbrake setup??

cheers

Hold up! I was told you cant run any drum type handbrake with these? If you can il be getting a set:nod:

Running a rear drum takes quite a bit of modification.
Just run a hydro and Z32 calipers :D

whats 'quite a bit'? I love the idea of these hubs, but not enough to want a hydro:(

Chopping the hub up in essence, a guy on Zilvia has done it.
What about swapping to s14 rears?

Ahh, I've just bought a full Z32 handbrake setup and was going to get these.
If you cannot fit the drum brake set up, then I'm sure you'll lose quite a few orders, mine included. Can't you mod them like the guys did here:

This is the roll center, suspension pickup, and steering angle modification thread. - Page 22 - Zilvia.net Forums | Nissan 240SX (Silvia) and Z (Fairlady) Car Forum

Also, can you add a sensor mounting point to the front knuckles so that those wishing to do so can keep their ABS.

just spent a while working out that thread.

what does VLCA stand for or am i beign stupid.

one of these days when im in a really good mood and in a position where i could measure everything id built a full S body front end, with everything down to the nth degree copyed, not just for steering angle/adjutment development, but even fitment :)

So what's the possibility of DW adding the mod from the Zilvia forums then? This is important as a hydro hb is not road legal. Also maybe add a bit to mount an ABS sensor on the front.

hydro is legal, nothing illegal about having one fitted to your car. you just need a cable version to pass a real mot

Are these just going to be sold as a 'track only' product then?

I'll happily put down a deposit/pay the lot up front if you guys could get the mods done to run a proper handbrake, even if it was just a shitty second caliper!

"To fit the rears to an S13 and retain the drum handbrake, we have included the necessary holes in the back plate. Some brake components will need swapping from the left to the right side to work, and other minor modification may be required."

Thats what the description in the shop says, is that no longer the case now? Not trying to be awkward here- its just I'm kinda bummed as after saving and scraping all my cash since these came out I'm now finally able to afford them, but they might not fit:(:wack:

Are there any non-photobucket pics of what needs doing/chopping/swapping?
