Getting to the track

Hi all I am looking into drifting and was wondering how you get Ur cars to the track as most of them are like 3 hour drive away from me. I can't get a trailer without doing the test and I know things will break on the car so how would I get it home?

There’s places that rent recovery trucks that can be driven on a car license but you need to be careful your not overweight

For the past 4 years I have driven my drift cars to the track and back and never once had such a big problem I didn't get home the same day(unless planned otherwise)

I am currently in the process of doing my trailer test though and have a friend that lets me borrow his trailer as and when as long as he's not using it and my E39 530d will tow it good enough

Has anyone tried having RAC or AA home delivery? Like push the car onto main road and say it broke down if you have recovery?

It sounds good in theory but what if they fix it at the side of the road. Even if they don't you'll wait an hour for the guy to arrive for him to doss about for another hour to then realise it might need towed but will be too low to get on his A Frame so he needs a low loader/flat bed so that's another hours wait.
