heya guys and girls.

been a looonnggg time lurker on the driftworks forum, thought it was about time to share what im working on atm. since i work away a lot, i get a fair bit of time of doing fuck all, other than sitting on my computer haha.

so a lil background on myself.. and my cars.

built this back in the day. circa 2008/9/10.. untill i wrote it off at mallala into the infamous turn one tire stacks.

then this happened...

smacked 5 tire stacks at around 150km/h and then tapped a wall. car was fairly shagged. reshelled into this.

was fun.. but just didnt feel the same. swapped it for a 1jz gz20 manual soarer. dailyed it. street slid it daily. sold it before i got into shit in it.. took a year off drifting, cleared debts etc.. then the bug hit again and purchased a cheap as fuck rb20det r32. welded the diff, put some shonky apexi coilovers in. and went about trying to kill it..

unfortuntly, had to sell it to prepare for the arrival of mine and my partners baby girl. (born christmas eve) had a rather interesting few months... having gotten all settled in with her, the drift/track bug bit again...

and that leaves me to where i am now..

wasnt looking for anything in particular but a mate popped his motor in his daily s14.. and needed to sell this thing to get it back together.

picked up. really. really cheap.

basic plan of attack will be to get the kit off it, stock bars back on. rattle can the front the same colour... ive got some decent 15' SSR meshies im eyeing off... plan is to basicly clean it up. straighten the quarter out a lil and then go out of my way to destroy it.. haha

anyways. thread will be updated along with my nissansilvia and secretdrift threads. input/ideas/general abuse and such is welcomed!

so today i picked up a fresh fixed back. fuck buying fake brides when i scored this genuine MOMO corse fixed back for aus $150

and scored a cheap ass nardi and removable boss kit through a mate.

im away for work again as of this week coming.. so more parts will be hoarded at home waiting for me to get back.

little update.

picking alloy rad up off stewy tomorrow night to see if it fits. gotta also pick up a stock CA fan and shroud of hi-psi of here.. was supposed to be the weekends job, but got dicked around a lil waiting for my pulsar to be picked up!.

pick car up from bens place wednesday night. havent been able to organise a tow sooner and only just got my carport sorted to store it.

so basic plan of attack.

-strip front end, rattle can panels same colour.
-kick dent out
-extend front LCAs. dermody knuckles. whatever tie rods fit
-mount MOMO seat up
-replace stock f**ked up steering column. fit nardi
-mount up 15s im eyeing off.
-street skid.

then im away for a cpl weeks... so ill hoarde some more bits haha.

edit. also. hoping to pick these up this weekend if JIS still have them.

pretty much got it home last night. barely got on the trailer..
ramps wouldnt fit back under the car on the trailer (keep in mind.. trailer is MADE for low cars)
ran like a bucket of shit (no radiator in it haha)
barely got in my driveway
think i wrecked the exhaust on a little lip bit in my driveway..

but yeah. its home... now the fun job of chasing a few bits and getting it sorted haha. going to sit like this for a cpl weeks while i hoarde stuff

haha cheers. the white one was a fun rig. wound up having a built RB20det in it with a APEXi RX6 set up on it.. made close to 300kw or so atw. was fun to drive on the street... was going to get me into trouble tho haha

haha cheers mate! im away for work for two weeks so while i am ill be gathering parts thanks to NS.com and ebay haha.

today work made me do a 4wd course to certify that i can drive one.. (its stupid, but working on oil rigs you need a licence for EVERYTHING) instructor told me to get it stuck so we could practice recovery techniques..

didnt do to bad of an effort. diffs/transer case and tailshaft were buried. haha.. got my licence. got to slide a 2.5t nissan patrol around on clay. scared the instructor a few times. good fun!

so in other news i actually got a quick chance do do a few lil things. wanted to suss if the radiator i got of stew fit (it didnt haha)

got the front end off, and the cooler etc out. wanted to see how the cooler and rad would all sit together.

doh.

might need to raise it a smidge... haha jks. that sway bars going.

Also. new daily/towcar. pick it up in two weeks time (fly in/out work is a slut)

commodore Vx SS. (i think there vauxalls over most of your guys way?) exhaust. cam. towbar. over the rad intake. mafless tune. makes 250kw atw or something.

also. about to shoot the fab list through to neil/carter. (for the sil80) not a heap there... but knowing them two itll wind up fully caged, tubed and all that. as long as its all in one bit for the periods im home. im happy.

bro we dont have commodores in the uk at all, all we have in terms of holden is the astra, the barina (we call a corsa) and the monaro (which is rare as fuck mostly!) so that car looks alien to any brit... just saying! fun thread though! enjoying this!
