just wondering if anyone knows if or where you could get glow in the dark lacquer? thought i saw a pic somewhere on here of a cressida with this on the wheels?

im not on about shitty halfrauds glow in the dark spray paint either

any help would be great

yeah ive had a look at that and i thought that was the paint?

my idea is to lacquer my wheels so by day they are bronze and by night glow in the dark. i was wondering if this was possible

impossible, glow in the dark needs a light color as "base coat" white works best

Nah man it's defos do-able:

Are they not just gold centres with some sort of weird transparent overlay? If not then my mistake. Still means you should be able to buy bronze-ish paint that glows green though :)

When the paint has had loads of light they glow greener dude lol.
its just glow in the dark paint centers.

yes jord!

thats where i got the idea from, it looks mental. im still scanning about i dont wanna have to change the colour of my wheels to that horrid flouro shit colour

that paint only glows for 10 min's then needs re-charging lets say....... put under or by strong light to get another 10 min's worth.

with the time it take to get dark will it even work? your have to park it in a well lit garage at night then get out and get your 10 mins worth lol

i wont bother if its like that, im just on the search to see if the technology i there, ive found ...

a green that lasts up to 24hrs
a blue that lasts up to 24 hrs
a red that lasts for 2 hours

but the lighting conditions are obv a major factor

Thats not true, I bought Dan's Joyces glow S13 and the paint glows for ages after.

House of colour sell the laquer, you do need a base colour though and white is the only colour that really works. But be warned Dan said its a real bitch to get it to lay right on the paint, he ended up spraying the car several times and even then the rear arches where still fucked, the laquer was all patchy, you couldnt notice it in the daytime, but at night when it glowed you could see the patch sections. Its very expensive too.
