Golf 4 1.8T (spares or repair/donor car)

Bought a golf as a track car project but wother work at the moment has me snowed under so I've had to abandon the project.

Basically the car could be used for a few different things. Track car project , it could be fixed and used on the road again, Or the engine etc could be used for a mk1,2 or 3 1.8T project I think the latter would be the best bet as an engine alone is £600+



For sale is a 1998 mk4 golf GTI 1.8T

No tax (sorn) or MOT. Mileage is in the region of 120K

The car is a 5 door and is jazz blue. The body work is pretty bad to be honest but from a distance it looks o.k .

I bought the car because it was mechanically sound. Cosmetics wern't an issue as I planned to respray it anyway.

since buying it I've only managed to do a few jobs to it. These are

Fitted new handbrake cables, a new lambda sensor, fitted a forge Divertor valve and stripped the interior.

I'm looking for £700 for the car as it is. Included in the sale is. the car,the recaro interior will be sold with the car but the carpet is missing, A new timing belt, new water pump and new oil filter.

the car is located is in aberdeenshire (40miles from aberdeen)

It seem's to just be the body that's bad. but even it could be fixed with a little patience.

The only other issues worth mentioning are that the windscreen has a crack on the passenger side, the exhaust is blowing in the middle somewhere and the remote locking has stopped working.
