WORKin it!
SOLD

Right I bought this on impulse with great intentions but I bought it, drove it back to my girlfriends and its been sat there for the last 2 months :dw:

I had great plans of stripping it out and making it a drift or track project and sticking an rb/jz engine in, then I was gonna use it as a sensible daily driver and then I was gonna break it :smash: I havent got the time or space to do anything with it as the garage I was renting was broken into and a load of my car stuff got jacked so the garage is going.

Its a green 14a auto touring, p reg I think, 80k on the clocks which have stopped working. I was told mileage would be about 88k but as the clocks have stopped it could and probably is higher as the leather is quite worn on the edge of the seat(s) Didnt notice that till after I'd bought it

The engine started rattling a month or so before I bought it apparently, it doesnt do it all the time (most of the time though) and sounds like big ends if the sound clips of s13's on sxoc are anything to go buy.

Alleged Mods: (Can vouch for all of these apart from the fuel pump)
Apexi Induction Kit
Stainless exhaust
Greddy Profec B Spec II Boost Controller
Greddy Turbo Timer
Walbro Fuel Pump

It has a scuff on rear quarter/bumper and the drivers wing mirror has a bit chipped out on the edge.

MOT has run out but I could probably try and get it a ticket if needed ie. if it passes first time then I can. Tax runs out at the end of August too so really need it gone by then.

As said I have driven this car once and only looked round it for a total of about 15 minutes. Its round my girlfriends flat and I'm banned from there after having a row with her flatmate :smash: therefore I havent even been able to look it over properly as I dont want her or any of the residents knowing its mine as they'll get it towed :D

This car would suit someone whos gonna strip it out and make it a serious project, its ripe for a rb20/25/26, 1/2jz etc engine and manual conversion.
I havent even had a chance to look underneath it or anything yet, just spent 10 minutes looking round it before I bought it :wack:

Car is located in Walton surrey, 20 mins from Heathrow Airport. I drove it back about 15-20 miles without problems but if your a fair distance you may want to trailor it.

Thats about all I can remember at the moment.

£1800 offers accepted, has to be gone by the end of August.

Pic of the damage, easily fixed I would have thought or just slap some 50mm wider quarters on

Sure it's not VVT rattle? Any service history to back up the mileage?

VVT is only when you first pull off though isnt it!? No service history, when I asked about the engine he did say it was overdue a service :smash:

Ive was having a look on sxoc earlier and found a post from the previous owner in 2005 saying the mileage was 80k then so its fair to say its done more than that  Previous owner had it for 4 years I think.

Someone buy this and stick phils RB25 engine and box in

When VVT goes it can come and go - on start up it can sound OK. Then 20 mins idling later it starts to sound like a diesel, and gets worse to the point that you half expect the rods to start showing themselves :wack: Then a few mins later its fine again....

Ah fuck knows then :smash: I cant even remember properly as I havent heard it for a couple of months, it was ok at cruising speed on the motorway but if i backed off and it dropped a gear sometimes it would rattle

Cefiro_drifter, I dont need any more cars, cant even bring this one home as my dad would shit, told him I'd move out and stop wasting cash on the car :wack:

I've had to sell all of my spare aftermarket wheels which is a pain as I need some sensible ones for trax next month, my dad would kill me if more turned up though, shame as I like the enkeis. Good job he doesnt know about the pair of racing harts in my room :D or the rears on the way from Japan although I will have to get someone to look after them till my sis finds another house :(

te71_20V, Dont really want to send it abroad as its hassle, car isnt insured or mot'd so unless its picked up I'm not gonna be driving it.
