gtir sr20det on rwd

hello there i own a starlet kp60 that have blown an 4agte engine and i want to buy an sr20det i like very much the sr20det from gtir can i install this engine will it fit?
because the cas is near the firewall

No it won't.

The block and head are different to the RWD SR, as in pulsar has its own head gasket,the oil feed to the head is in different position
The blocks are completely different and won't go in a rwd. (Engine mounting points different)
The oil filter housing is in a different position, the starting motor bolts to the block (not the gearbox)
Also they use dizzy at rear of head

Ive got a set of pulsar itbs with a conversion plate that bolts up to a redtop sr20 from a 180sx/ps13 if thats of any use

I dont really want to hijak the thread so I will keep the reply short.

If you do a search on here there is a KP Starlet with one here is a pic and Ive seen a couple of other cars done

Notice the head no cam sensor the distributor is at the back.

If people can convert Vauxhall red tops and ford Zetech to RWD why not the Pulsar???

Anything is possible with a little bit of work

Im surprised more people havnt done it the block is stronger plus the Pulsar engine has oil squirters to cool the piston skirts.
