handbrake problem

hey there ummm...i'm not sure whats going on but seems like when i pull on my handbrake only one side of my handbrake is locking up seems like one side is not....anione have a clue on how to fix that.....

i mean in the rear only one side is braking and the other side is just not braking....

mis worn pads? streched cable. could be a number of things. if you reverse at a decent speed (15mph) and then yank the yankbrake hard till you stop it will centre it up. might have better luck then. other wise just re-ferb the system - new discs, pads and cables

Most likely siezed handbrake cable; you may as well replace all three cables.

Could be a siezed handbrake mechanism on the caliper also.

what you mean on siezed handbrake i'm not sure what that is...could you explain that to me......

they sometimes come loose from the caliper check the 1 which isnt working

would a Hydraulic handbrake be a worthwhile addition, because of its ability to "flyoff"
i ask this as this is something i was considering when i ditch the abs and re do the brake system with a bias valve
