Hardly any drift days at Driftland?

Just looking to plan a trip for me and few mates to go driftland, and I was pretty shocked at the general lack of driftdays on at driftland.

Between now and November their is two drift days listed on the site (20 july and 19 august).

Do more drift days usually get added closer to the time, or is that it for the year? wanting to plan a trip in advance.

There's something like 6 Public Driftdays in total at Driftland this year. A few of us have been commenting about it.
Their private hires are worthwhile if you can get enough of you, seat-time central and not THAT much more expensive than public days if you have at least 8 people.

There's a few events though with drift days running:

Yea I've seen all those on the website but there are only two actual drift days to which you can book onto which seems bit lame. Im not driving 4 hours to go to one of the days where there is only a few hours of drifting on between a show.

Heard about the private hire but not really wanting to plan out a massive day with loads of others. Just disappointed there isn't more normal drift days on as doubt I can make the two dates listed.

It's the kinda thing that's worthwhile if you've got a few mates and they've got a few mates.
If it's the last few spots you're trying to fill, there's a group where you can shout out for more bodies :)

It's honestly the best thing you can do at a new track. It was my very first drift day and I got about 4 1/2 hours of solid seat-time in the MX5.
Next time I did a private day and maybe got 6 runs of 10 mins if I'm lucky.

It's a bit hit and miss tbh with regards to queues etc.

Yea rather just wait for a teeside flat out academy day as there are zero ques there, just expensive and wanting to try a new track.

Very little Intrest in a private hire day as these things just end up turning into a nightmare planning, not a huge amount of tracks where you can get decent seat time. Three sisters is my local track and I just refuse to go because they have max 70 cars split into 3 sessions, so in a 8 hour day you'll be lucky to get 10-12 laps in.
